Українським жінкам не вистарчає інформації, яка б допомогля їм піклуватися про своїх дітей  запобігати ускладненням при пологах. У 2000 році, з допомогою компанії Монсанто, ФДРДЧ опублікував і розповсюдив тисячі копій нового ілюстрованого буклету «Нормальна вагітність». Цей буклет було створено спільно американськими і українськими акушерами, він має 50 сторінок і містить необхідну інформацію для майбутніх матерів про захист здоров»я їх ненародженої дитини, а також про те, як уникнути непотрібного ризику підчас вагітності.

Також у 2000 році Фонд видав і розпосюдив наступну книжку – «Здоров»я дитини у перший рік життя». 

У 2000 році з допомогою міжнародної організації «Жіноча громада» було видано книжку «Основні положення неонатології». Книжку безкоштовно розповсюджено серед лікарів-неонатологів по всій Україні.

У 2004 року спільними силами ФДРДЧ і наших благодійників (компаній Нестле, НЗ Техно, Ескулап, US Optics, фундації Медтронікс і полковнику Ярополку Гладкому) було видано і безкоштовно розповсюджено книгу «Серцево-судинні захворювання у новонароджених», яка стала незамінимим помічником для багатьох українських лікарів.

У 2005 році за підтримки Клубу Левів міста Києва було видано і безкоштовно розповсюджено серед лікарів і студентів медицини друге україномовне видання популярного «Посібника з неонатології» авторства Др. Джона Клоерті і Др. Енн Старк, 700-сторінкову книжку, яку неонатологи у всьому світі вважають незамінним помічником.

До 20-річчя Чорнобильської катастрофи ФДРДЧ видав книжку Др. Ольги Горішної «Чорнобиль залишається з нами». Цю грунтовну наукову працю про довготривалі наслідки для здоров»я аварії на Чорнобильській АЕС було опубліковано англійською і українською мовами.

The Sky Unwashed Buy

This unusual novel was inspired by a true story of Ukrainians who, despite government prohibition, returned to their village near Chernobyl less than a year after the nuclear accident. They did it, they told reporters, because they had nowhere else to go and missed home.

Focusing on one old woman and her family, the novel vividly depicts life in a remote part of the former Soviet Union. Marusia, of a generation only slightly past serfdom, is accustomed to deprivation and hard work. Zosia, who lives in her mother-in-law's ancient cottage with Yurko, her husband, and their two children, knows-from TV-what's available if only she had money. Zosia and Yurko both work extra shifts at the Chernobyl nuclear plant.

As the novel opens on April 25, 1986, a traditional village wedding is in progress. Overnight, everything changes. The air "smells of metal." Butterflies shrivel and die. And the extent of the "accident" is kept a secret, not only from the world, but from those most at risk.

Eventually, the villagers are evacuated to a hospital basement in Kiev. And after watching her loved ones die or flee, Marusia simply gets on a train to Chernobyl and then walks back to her deserted village. When five other old women turn up, they band together, confront officials, and live out their days in the place of their birth.
