Ukraine’s Newest Hotel
InterContinental Kyiv
Chooses CCRDF as Charity-of-Choice
Opening its doors for the first time on August 27, 2009, Kyiv’s latest 5 star deluxe hotel, the InterContinental Hotel of InterContinental Hotels and Resorts stands proudly not only as a leader of premier hospitality, but also as a shining example of a socially responsible corporation.
Prior to the long-awaited opening, InterContinental Kyiv’s General Manager Leon Larkin and his staff searched for a charity that would fit into their criteria to be honored as their charity-of-choice. Researching several outstanding charities, we are proud to announce that Mr. Larkin choose Children of Chornobyl Relief and Development Fund as their 2010 Charity-of-Choice. CCRDF is most excited to work with InterContinental Kyiv and is planning to hold several events at the premier venue, including our anniversary event celebrating 20 years of humanitarian work in Ukraine in the early spring of 2010.
CCRDF is promoting the InterContinental Kyiv as the ideal hotel venue to hold your events because a portion of your stay will go to support CCRDF’s programs in Ukraine. The 272 room hotel overlooking St Michael’s Square boasts exquisite design by celebrated Ukrainian architects and sculptures, British designers, and Italian carpenters, exceptional European cuisine created by renowned chefs, panoramic views of the city at the ultramodern rooftop bar and restaurant, a luxurious lounge for InterContinental Club members, and a grand ballroom for receptions of up to 450 guests.
CCRDF is most grateful to InterContinental Hotel for choosing CCRDF as their Charity-of-Choice and offering their luxurious accommodations to CCRDF so that we, more appropriately, may focus our budget on our medical programs.
A portion of the profit from your stay or use of their facilities at the InterContinental Kyiv will go to benefit children served by CCRDF.
