CCRDF supports the development of the infant cardiac surgery field in . For the last several years, CCRDF has sponsored regional seminars on the topic of infant cardiac surgery and organized two national cardiac birth conferences for over 450 doctors and nurses treating newborns suffering from congenital heart defects. CCRDF also translated into Ukrainian and published, “Clinics in Perinatalogy: Cardiovascular Disease in the Neonate,” a medical text on infant cardiac defects. Additionally, CCRDF has delivered a heart lung machine, a cardiac surgery monitor, medical supplies, and specific training for the cardiac surgeons, cardiologists, infusionists, and anesthesiologists both in the and other European countries to the L’viv Regional Clinical Children’s Hospital.
