How Can I Help / Urgent Request

Dear Friends and Supporters,

These Ukrainian twins desperately need help!

Twin boys Alexander and Ivan, who have turned six years of age have a very serious genetic problem that can only be properly treated in the .

Halyna Shchuklin about five and half years ago adopted the two boys and was told that they are healthy babies.  Shortly after she noticed that the boys were not developing normally.  Their eating habits changed rapidly.  After many consultations and treatments the twins were diagnosed with congenital immunodeficiency syndrome ( hyppogammaglobulinemia ) not improving. Years were running against them, to point that the twins started to show difficulty in speaking and hearing.  Finally they turned to First Lady of Ukraine, Kateryna Yushchenko for help. Her Foundation, Ukraine 3000 immediately contacted us for support.  We researched hospitals in who could facilitate and medically treat these twins.  The University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey agreed take the boys for treatment.

This treatment will be free except for the medicines and laboratory work. The most important component of this treatment is the medication which is very expensive and the second component is the laboratory testing which is also costly. Therefore the total expense for the six week treatment with work up will come to a total $32,000.

We welcome any donation to help us save these kids.
