(Washington, DC)  The Kennan Institute, Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars  (WDC) will be hosting a conference, entiteled "Commemoration of the Chornobyl Disaster: The Human Experience", marking the 20th Anniversary of the Chornobyl nuclear disaster on Wednesday, April 26th  8:30 am - 7:30 pm, featuring internationally renowned speakers such as Dr. David Marples, author Irene Zabytko and journalist Mary Mycio, Murray Feshbach, the President of the Center for Ecological Study and Education Dr. Alla Yaroshinskaya. CCRDF's Board Member Leonard Mazur will represent the Fund to speak on the health affects of the Chornobyl tragedy.  Experts will examine the Chornobyl disaster from historic, medical, social, environmental and human perspectives.
