How Can I Help / Procurement Policy

The Children of Chornobyl Relief and Development Fund willl make every effort to secure the highest quality of medical care by providing pharmaceuticals, medical technology, humanitarian commodities and professional medical conferences to benefit the children of Ukraine. The policy of CCRDF shall adhere:

  1. To the greatest extent possible, CCRDF will seek and procure commodities which can have an immediate and substantial impact on the health and wellbeing of its partner hospitals.
  2. CCRDF will deliver pharmaceuticals that are registered in Ukraine in order to fulfill the full range of our medical programs in Ukraine.
  3. CCRDF policy is to purchase new equipmet in order to secure the highest level of treatment.
  4. CCRDF will procure medical equipmpent from companies and will adhere the company logo on the equipment.
  5. CCRDF will obtain service contracts and training programs for in-country operators of purchased or donated equipment.
  6. CCRDF will supervise and monitor the utilization of equipment, medicines, and supplies to ensure that it is being made available to the broadest possible population at no cost.
  7. All equipment, medicines, and supplies accepted by CCRDF must first be approved and authorized by the Fund's Medical Advisory Committee.
  8. All medicines must be delivered with certificates of analysis and must be cleared by customs and the Pharmacological Committee prior to entering the country.
